See my Sogetsu teacher in the background? =)
( more under here )
I could have done more, but I missed two classes because (1) I went to Disneyland with Edgar and (2) I was sick.
Ok, I admit I've been neglecting to post about this for a while. It's not that I didn't want to, it's just I haven't had the chance to.
About a week ago, I bought the Guitar Hero: World Tour for my younger brother. He's been wanting it for a while (I did too) and I figured, "hey why not?" Edgar, Vinh, and I talked about Rock Band before making the final decision, but we ended up get Guitar Hero instead. Edgar bought a set for his Xbox 360 as well. Anyway, the game is soooo much fun! Whenever we play together, I'm usually on drums, Vinh's on guitar, and Edgar's on the mic. lol, Edgar makes the game so much fun too! =)
Really, I love this game. I didn't think it was possible to have this much fun with it! =)
So the other day, Edgar and I took the kids to the park. We were playing in the sandbox and since we brought a lot of sand toys, all the other children we didn't know wanted to play with us too - which is great. However, a parent stopped her child from playing and told him, "I just bought you new shoes. You can't play there because you'll get your shoes dirty." Edgar and I just looked at each other and shook our heads at her comment. Anyway, ten minutes passed by and that child started running around in the playground. She pulled him to the side, sat him next to her, and said "what did I tell you about those shoes?"
1. He's a kid! Are you kidding me?
2. Why do you bother bringing him to the park if you're not going to let him play?
3. Shoes are meant to get dirty! If you want to keep them clean, then fine, that's your thing... but if you knew you were bringing him to the park, why did you put those shoes on him?
Seriously, it was ridiculous!
